MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A WVU student has been charged in connection with a stabbing that happened earlier this month.
Morgantown police said Wednesday detectives have charged Tyler Bollhorst with attempted first-degree murder.
Police said video surveillance showed Bollhorst, 20, swinging a knife at a residence on Forest Avenue on April 6. Police said Bollhorst can be seen on video with the knife in his right hand swinging it at the victim.
The unidentified victim with treated for multiple stab wounds at Ruby Memorial Hospital, police said.
The investigation remains active, MPD said.
