WESTON, W. Va.–A Lewis County woman has been arrested on charges that she allegedly stabbed and killed her three-month-old child.
According to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office Krista Brunecz, 31, was arrested in connection with the child’s death at a Weston apartment building on Dec. 30.
She and the infant were taken to the hospital where the child was pronounced dead.
Officials said that the woman also had self-inflicted stab wounds.
