Detroit resident faces drug charges after motel raid

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Members of the Mon Metro Drug and Violent Crime Task Force arrested a Detroit man at local motel with a significant amount of methamphetamine.

Agents raided the motel room of Deshawn Jackson, 29, Detroit, Michigan  and confiscated 129.36 grams of methamphetamine, 14.37 grams of fentanyl and a small amount of heroin. Police also recovered currency, digital scales and packaging materials.

Jackson is being in the North Central Regional Jail charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver.
