ELKINS, W. Va.–Three North Central West Virginia schools added to state program.

The Randolph County schools are part of the state’s Communities In Schools program. They are Elkins High School, Elkins Middle School and Beverly Elementary School.

The goal of the program works to create community partnerships and bring assets into schools to help to tear down walls to student learning by keeping all students in school and ultimately graduating.

Communities in Schools began in three West Virginia counties in 2018.
