BRIDGEPORT-W.Va.–The pursuit of a new manager for a Harrison County city will go on.
The search for Bridgeport’s next city manager will continue. Bridgeport city council approved continuing the procedure in looking for a new city manager.
Last week two candidates were chosen as finalists, city council says that they can reapply. The process could take less than 45 days to interview candidates.
Current City Manager Randy Wetmore is set to retire on Feb. 22. Wetmore has said that he is willing to stay on longer to help with in the transition to the new manager.
