Police seize drugs, make arrest after traffic stop

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — A Martinsburg woman who was the passenger in a vehicle involved in a traffic stop was arrested on drug charges. The driver of the vehicle was released.

The West Virginia State Police Martinsburg Detachment said that the Chrysler 300 was stopped for a traffic violation on I-81 Southbound just after the bridge near Mile Marker 25.

Trooper B.F. Gorondy received consent to search the vehicle. The passenger, Danielle Foltz, 31, of Martinsburg, WV, was found to be in possession of approximately 50 capsules of suspected Fentany with a street value of more than 3-thousand dollars.

She was placed under arrest for possession with intent to deliver Fentanyl and transporting Fentanyl within the state of West Virginia.

State police say the driver of the vehicle was released from the traffic stop.
