Parkersburg man facing drug charges following traffic stop in Harrison County

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A Parkersburg man is facing drug charges following a traffic stop for speeding in Harrison County.

Deputies from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department stooped Ayden Lee Nutter, 20, for driving in excess of 90-miles-per-hour on I-79 around 9:30 p.m Tuesday. After a canine officer gave a positive indication to narcotics a search was conducted.

As a result, police confiscated 76.5 grams of marijuana, 44 packages of THC oil, 17 packages of another type of oil, 100 Hydrocodone pills and more than $7,600 in cash.

Nutter has been charged with possession with intent to deliver and is being held in the North Central Regional Jail.
