SUTTON, W. Va.–State police received a call regarding a school threat. Initial information was received that a juvenile was possibly making threats toward individuals at the Braxton County High School.
State police along with the assistance from the Braxton County Sheriff’s Office were able to ascertain and verify that no viable threat had been made to the school.
The juvenile responsible for the incident was located and detained.
