GLENVILLE, W, VA–There is a new scholarship at Glenville State College. It is designed for students majoring in athletic training.
The GSC Athletic Trainer Scholarship was put together by members of the 1970 Glenville State College football team.
The endowed scholarship will be awarded after it reaches $25,000, supporting an annual $1,000 scholarship.
The Glenville State College Scholarship Committee will choose the recipient for the scholarship from a list of juniors and seniors who are majoring in athletic training.
The requirements for the recipients are that they must be from West Virginia, intend to stay in West Virginia after graduation, have at least a 3.0 GPA and show financial need in order to be considered.
