BRIDGEPORT, W. Va.–A national retailer has broken ground in Harrison County.

Shovels were put into the ground this week at Charles Pointe in Bridgeport for home improvement retailer Menards. Jeff Abbott is with Menards.  “We’re just super excited to be working together with the Bridgeport community,” said Abbott.

The store in Bridgeport will be 240,000 square foot and is a project estimated to cost $18 million with construction scheduled to start in the spring.
