FAIRMONT, W. Va.–A Marion County man has been charged after police said that he allegedly murdered his son.
Authorities said that Michael Murphy, 69, of Fairmont shot his son Morgan Murphy, 33.
When police arrived on scene at the home on Little Mill Fall Road in Fairmont, Morgan was found dead inside.
Michael Murphy has been charged with first-degree murder. He is being held at North Central Regional Jail.
