Lewis-Gilmer 911 updates software

WESTON, W. Va. An upgrade to a system in two West Virginia counties improves dispatching of first responders.

New computer aided dispatching software is being used by the Lewis-Gilmer E-911 Center in Weston.

The new software allows dispatchers for Lewis and Gilmer Counties better communication and connections with police, fire and EMS responders.

Lewis and Gilmer Counties 911 is using the Motorola Flex CAD system.
