PARSONS, W. Va.–Some want a different route for Corridor H in one county.
An online petition has been started seeking that the path of Corridor H through Tucker County be changed to an alternative northern route. So far the petition been signed by more than 1,700.
According to the organization Business Coalition for a Better Route for Corridor H the different route is also being supported by 27 businesses in Davis and 24 in Thomas.
The goal is to not have Corridor H between the towns of Thomas and Davis, continuing to Douglas over the Blackwater Canyon Historic area.
