FSU’s STEM program gets a grant

FAIRMONT, W. Va.–A state university’s STEM program gets a boost.
Fairmont State University (FSU) received a grant from the National Science Foundation.

The $749,693 will help 18 students to get their degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

The funding will benefit FSU’s project “Bridging the STEM Gap in Appalachia” it is designed to aide low-income students who are academically capable in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
