Elkins water system inspected

ELKINS, W. Va.–A Randolph County municipality’s water system has been inspected

No deficiencies were found after an examination by the state of the City of Elkins water utility.

According to the City of Elkins the inspection was done by the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR.)

The state reviewed Elkins water source and intake area, treatment plant, distribution system, water storage and water-supply pumping facilities.

Federal law requires the inspections every three years.
