ELKINS, W. Va.–Customers of a Randolph County water board could see a big jump in their bills.
The Elkins Water Board is proposing a major rate increase.
The Elkins Water Board has put forth an “emergency rate increase” of 32 percent. .
The Elkins Water Board said that without the rate increase they could not be able to make bond payments, pay vendors or make payroll.
