CARROLLTON, W. Va.–Work on a historic bridge continues.
According to the West Virginia Division of Highways (DOH) work on restoring a covered bridge in Barbour County is progressing,
The bridge was badly damaged in an arson in 2017 but opened after minor repairs were made. The DOH says that about half a dozen crew members have been working on the bridge since then.
The DOH hopes to complete work on the bridge by the spring.
The $1 million cost of the project comes from federal tax dollars.
