WASHINGTON D.C.– The Clarksburg Police Department will benefit from grants of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).
The city of Clarksburg will use $15,650 in DOJ funding to purchase bikes and e-bikes to enable faster response in areas unsuitable for vehicles.
The bicycle patrol unit has been active since 2016 and has been deployed in the downtown and Glen Elk areas, as well as at festivals and special events.
