BRIDGEPORT, W. Va.–A Harrison County police department is warning of a scam.
According to Bridgeport Police a phone scam is going around. The scammer allegedly claims to be with the police and asks for donations.
The Bridgeport Police Department said that they do not solicit donations.
Residents are reminded to never give out personal and banking information to unknown people.
