A major upgrade is now open at a state park in Taylor County.
Adventure Lake at Tygart Lake State Park near Grafton is now open. Adventure Lake has 25 slides, obstacles and other inflatables and a sandy beach.
The lake will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be capacity limits so park officials encourage getting tickets in advance.
The West Virginia Tourism Office says that Adventure Lake is just one of several recent upgrades and improvements at Tygart Lake State Park, including $3 million in renovations to the park’s cabins, campground and lodge, which are expected to be finished this summer.
