Maryland man admits to drug charge in West Virginia

MARTINSBURG, WVa — A Baltimore man has admitted to a drug charge out of Jefferson County.

The US Attorney’s office says 55-year-old Kevin Joseph Young pleaded guilty in federal court to one count of “Possession with Intent to Distribute 100 Grams or More of a Mixture and Substance Containing PCP .” Young admitted to having 100 grams or more of PCP in September 2019 in Jefferson County.

Young faces at least six years and up to 10 years of incarceration and a fine of up to $5,000,000.

This case is the result of investigations supported by the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) under the Synthetic Opioid Surge (SOS)/Special Operations Division (SOD) Project Clean Sweep.
