WESTON, W. Va.–A West Virginia county is getting some financial help to clean things up.
Lewis County has received a Brownfield grant. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency awarded Lewis a half million dollars. Municipalities in Lewis County will use the money for site cleanup efforts.
Areas that will be looked at in Lewis County include the Dasner Hardware building in Weston, Polk Creek School, the Jane Lew Glass plant, a residential area, a former church and an industrial area.
