CLARKSBURG, W.Va. –The United Way of Harrison and Doddridge Counties announced Monday afternoon that they have opened a search for its next Executive Director.
According to their news release, this follows the planned departure of outgoing Executive Director Martin Howe, who served in the role for the past year.
“Leading the United Way of Harrison and Doddridge Counties has been an honor,” Howe said in the release. “Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside dedicated volunteers, generous donors, and community partners who care deeply about improving the lives of our neighbors. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together, and I’m confident the next Executive Director will continue to build on this momentum.”
The release said that the executive director, will oversee a variety of things including strategic planning, community partnerships, fundraising initiatives, and day-to-day operations. It went onto say that they are looking for someone who has a passion for service, strong communication skills, and a commitment to advancing the United Way’s impact in Harrison and Doddridge counties.
