LEWIS COUNTY, W.Va. — A Bridgeport couple have been arrested following a reported break in at a Lewis County country club.
Davon Julius, 35, and Kayla Julius, 36, are accused of breaking into the Deerfield Country Club Wednesday night. Security cameras caught the couple fleeing the building from a side door.
Near the entrance to the facility, deputies found Kayla Julius sitting in a vehicle. Deputies also located footprints from the vehicle to the entrance and out the side door seen on the security camera.
Evidence inside showed the office had been ransacked.
With the help of a thermal drone supplied by the Weston Fire Department, Davon Julius was found hiding along the the West Fork River bank near Jackson’s Mill Road.
Both have been charged with entry of a building other than a dwelling, conspiracy and are being held in the Central Regional Jail with no bond.
