CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Police did not locate a gun after an interview and a search Wednesday at Liberty Middle School.
School officials placed Liberty Middle School under a code yellow at one point Wednesday due to a report that a student had brought a gun to school.
One student had told another student they had a gun, Harrison County Superintendent Dora Stutler told WDTV.
A search by the Harrison County Sheriff’s office and an interview with the student in question did not yield a gun.
A code green, which is the normal status, is now in effect.
