CAIRO, W.Va. — One person was flown from the scene of a Saturday evening ATV crash in Ritchie County.
The Cairo Fire Department says that the crash was reported at around 7:20 p.m. on Marietta Run Road.
When crews arrived, they found one person trapped as a result of the accident. A Facebook post from the department says the victim was flown by HealthNet Aeromedical Services and a firefighter that responded was transported to the hospital.
There was no word on the condition of the victim or if the firefighter was injured.
State Police, Ritchie County Sheriff’s deputies, the Ellenboro Volunteer Fire Department, and the Deerwalk Volunteer Fire Department all responded to the crash.
