MOUNT CLARE, W.Va. — State officials have confirmed the Mount Clare fire Saturday did involve a fatality.
The State Fire Marshal provided the information and said additional information will be released later in the week.
The fire was reported Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. on Jerome Avenue.
The West Virginia Medical Examiner was also called to the scene.
