CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A water main break during construction in Clarksburg Wednesday has resulted in a number customers being without water.
The Clarksburg Water Board indicated that water customers from 2nd Street and North Ohio Avenue going east, 2nd Street and West Pike Street going east, and 2nd Street and West Main Street going east will be impacted by a water outage. Impacted neighborhoods include Broadway, Goff Plaza, Broad Oaks, Monticello, Montpelier and all intersecting side streets in these areas.
There is no estimated restoration time. Once service is restored, a precautionary boil water advisory will be issued.
