MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A portion of Interstate 79 northbound in Monongalia County will be closed overnight due to repairs after a tractor trailer wrecked Monday morning.
The semi wrecked on the bridge just past the Goshen Road Exit and caught fire. Crews put the fire out, but part of the pavement was damaged. Crews will be digging up damaged pavement and then repaving the area.
Motorists will detour off the Goshen Road exit and immediately back onto the interstate past the bridge.
