CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Governor Patrick Morrisey has confirmed that a body was found in Wetzel County Monday.
Morrisey, in a post on X, stated that the body is suspected to be from the flooding in nearby Ohio County that claimed six other lives.
Morrisey reported Monday morning that two people were missing after flash floods ravaged Ohio County communities such as Wheeling, Triadelphia, and Elm Grove.
Between three and four inches of rain fell in the Wheeling area Saturday evening in just half an hour.
