MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department has released the identity of the body found near a construction site earlier this week.
The state Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed the body has been identified as Andrew Tyler Sweitzer, 33, of Garrett County, Maryland.
Authorities said Sweitzer had been living in Morgantown.
The cause of death remains under investigation.
The body was discovered Monday off of U.S. Route 119 near the construction site of a new bridge.
