GLENVILLE, W.Va. — The Glenville State University Board of Governors voted Tuesday to give pay increases to faculty and staff.
With the approval, all workers would see a $1,500 raise, with the lowest-earning employees receiving an additional $1,000 increase.
The BOG wrote language within the resolution that the increase is contingent on the availability of funds and approval of the 2026 fiscal budget. During the meeting, Chief Financial Officer Tim Henline assured board members that the university could afford the pay raises.
The board voted 8-0 in favor of the raises with two absences.
