FAIRMONT, W.Va. — A second defendant involved in a Fairmont drug-related killing has entered a guilty plea and faces the possibility of life in prison.
Zeighshawn Meade, 20, admitted to shooting Clayotn Peck, of Frostburg, Maryland, in March of 2023 at the Fairmont Hills Apartment complex during a transaction involving marijuana.
Meade has been charged along with Illes Williams and Jayden Cheriza in October 2023.
Williams was recently sentenced to life in prison for his role in the murder last month.
A judge will determine sentencing at a hearing that has not yet been scheduled.
Cheriza is scheduled to be sentenced after the judge has ruled on a prison term for Meade.
