CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – One man is in custody and more arrests are anticipated in the death of a man in Harrison County.
According to Sheriff Robert Matheny, deputies responded Wednesday afternoon around 2:30 to a report of a deceased man along Jack Run Road. Deputies found Dallion Corbet Lewis, 37, of Clarksburg, dead of apparent gunshot wounds.
Dennis Allen High, 36, of Salem was arrested and charged with felony murder.
“This is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public,” emphasized Matheny.
He said the investigation is ongoing. More arrests are expected.
