MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The West Virginia Division of Highways (DOH) has announced a lane closure on I-79 northbound for Friday, January 26.
One lane of the northbound side of I-79 at mile marker 135 near the Millersville bridge in the Pleasant Valley area will be closed from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to conduct repairs.
The closure is part of the ongoing $72.5 million I-79 widening project.
DOH officials urge motorists to plan ahead, allow additional time, or find another route.
Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could extend the project schedule.
